PIXIE LEAGUE
Weekly Update
THE SEASON & PLAYOFFS
HAVE ENDED!!! Thanks to all the Coaches and Parent volunteers for all your
help.
Our Playoffs saw a lot of great games. 2 of the 3
Lyndhurst team were taken out in the first round. The remaining Lyndhurst
team was eliminated in the Semi-Final round, leaving and All S. Euclid
Final.
The Championship game
was very exciting. SE 1 (Hovancsek & Assoc.) got off to an early, sizeable
lead. Then SE 5 (David B. Miller) put up a couple big innings to go ahead 14
to 11. Then in their last at bat (Hovancsek & Assoc.) scored 3 runs to tie
the game 14 all. In the extra inning (David B. Miller) scored 2 runs to go
up 16 to 14 only to have the home team (Hovancsek & Assoc.) score 3 runs to
end the game. The most exciting game in all the years of coaching & being
league director that Ive ever seen. Many great defensive plays. And a lot
of big time hitting. All coaches, parents, and players should be very proud.
Things look bright for SEGSL softball in the future.
The AWARDS ceremony will be on Friday July 23rd
at the Bexley Pavillion @ 5:15. Please contact your coaches for information.

With the playoffs beginning we need all the
support to cheer these teams on to the Championship game. Please have your
players there at least 20 min. before game time so they are warmed up and
ready to go!!! Please bring lots of WATER to the games as the weather is

to an end, and the playoffs are right around the corner. Its been great to
see the kids continue to improve. Thanks to all the coaches and parent
volunteers for all you help.

Our season continues to progress very well. Hopefully everyone is having a great time. The past week saw some more great games. We saw (SE1) Hovancsek & Assoc. come to an extra inning tie against (SE5) David B. Miller. Also the 2nd meeting of the Gesu Coaches ended in a 19 19 tie.
Mother nature has been good to us so far this season. She is heating things up a bit so be sure to bring a lot of WATER to the fields with you.

Our season continues to progress very well. Hopefully

The 1st battle between GESU coaches went to (SE 4) Moe Romeo as they beat
(SE 2) Sunny Simon 17 10. Also the S.E. FOP got their first win with a
come from behind 12 11 victory over the Lyndhurst Fillies. It is great to
see all these teams continue to improve.
Team photos are this Thursday June 10th. It is very important
that you make these pictures. We are also having our Memorial fund raiser
that got rained out on Tuesday June 8th. We will be selling
Hotdogs, sodas, and chips at both evening and night games. So bring $$$ and
help support our league.
Our Pixie season has gotten off to a good start. We have seen close games between all the S. Euclid teams. Hovancsek & Associates (SE1) held on to beat Sunny Simon (SE 2) 15 14 on Thursday. And David B. Miller (SE 5) came from behind to beat Moe Romeo (SE 4) 15 14 on Tuesday.
